Ryan is a chartered Project and Programme Director with a strong background in disaster recovery, major incident response and resilience planning. He specialises in providing bespoke programme and project management recovery support, ensuring efficient coordination and governance of large-scale recovery efforts without stifling progress.
Ryan has played a key role in leading government-led resilience initiatives, including the Government of Jersey's Recovery and Resilience Programme, which supported the island's recovery from multiple major incidents. His work involved establishing robust incident recovery frameworks, risk management strategies and infrastructure resilience measures, ensuring long-term recovery and preparedness.
He has contributed to disaster recovery planning within New Zealand, supporting efforts to strengthen resilience in affected communities. His expertise includes risk mitigation, emergency preparedness and long-term recovery strategies, ensuring that lessons learned from past incidents shape future response efforts.
His expertise spans infrastructure resilience, emergency planning and business transformation, with a proven track record in stakeholder coordination and strategic risk management. He has successfully implemented disaster recovery frameworks that enhance community resilience and infrastructure sustainability.
Ryan holds an MBA with Distinction from Liverpool John Moores University and is a Chartered Manager (CMgr), Fellow of the CMI (FCMI), and a Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM). He has also undertaken Emergency Planning College training in Recovery Management.
