Jaime is a senior strategic leader, consultant and security specialist bringing over 30 years of experience with HM Police Forces to the Network.

Sociologist (MSc) with experience in territorial planning, disaster risk reduction, and ecosystem protection, working with communities, NGOs, subnational governments, and private companies. He participated in the National Defence Information Centre during several major emergencies, including the 8.8 magnitude earthquake on February 27, 2010, the Copahue Volcano eruption in 2015, intense rainfall events in 2005, 2006, and 2021, and the mega wildfires of 2017 and 2023, all of which occurred in the Biobío region of Chile.

Currently, he serves as Disaster Risk Reduction Advisor for the Municipality of Quillón, Executive Secretary of the Association of Municipalities of Nonguén National Park-the only national park located in an urban area in Chile-and Academic Coordinator of the first climate change course aimed at young businesses: "Sustainability and Resilience in Business in the Face of the Climate Crisis - Business Footprint Training Program" (IRADE - CORFO).

He has expertise in geotechnologies (drones, GPS, and GIS software) and geographic information systems applied to territorial planning and emergency management. He is also an instructor in sustainable local development and disaster risk in various training programmes in Chile and abroad.
