Loh Eng Choon has more than 21 years experience of Civil Defence operations and policy work in Singapore. His sound operational experiences were well tested through his appointments as the Commander of a Fire-Hazmat Station responding to emergencies in elevated risk industries; Assistant Director in Operations Centre managing the country-wide 995 Emergency Call Centre as well as managing the national level emergencies from the SCDF Command Post.
He successfully achieved the ISO 9001 standard for the Call Centre one of the first call centre to do so in Singapore. He was also Head Operations of 4th CD Division managing frontline emergencies across the entire western sector (industrial area and Jurong Island) in Singapore.
