Bev specialises in developing and delivering training solutions addressing the crisis management and emergency response needs of companies and organisations in the UK and overseas.
A mechanical engineer by profession, Bev’s early career was in the Aerospace sector working for a large helicopter manufacturer in the South West. She developed a strong reputation in effective Business Management focusing on project delivery and future business development in a partnership environment, particularly within the Training arena.
She became involved in the Resilience Sector by leading a 5-year programme to design and deliver multi-agency, simulation based, training exercises for Strategic Commanders in the Public Sector in 2007; and in 2011 launched Training 4 Resilience with her business Partner Adrian Seward (whilst retaining the lead for the Public Sector contract work).
She has designed and delivered over 120 crisis management and emergency exercises since 2007 for a wide portfolio of Public and Private Sector clients including multi-agency events for Local Resilience Forums; event and venue owners including Premiership Football and Rugby Clubs; Music Festivals and Concerts; the NATO Summit and the Tour de France; and large national and international companies and charities.
She has also put together numerous training programmes and events for businesses and organisations to develop their crisis management and emergency response capabilities to meet the needs for Business Continuity and Organisational Resilience as well as specific industry legislation. Most recently, this has included the Training curriculum and content for a European Research Project, POP ALERT.
